Why do my cold emails go to spam?
Most often because the domain is not authenticated. Without SPF, receivers cannot confirm you are allowed to send from your domain; without DKIM, the message is unsigned; without DMARC, there is no policy telling receivers what to do when either fails. Fixing all three is usually a day of DNS work and is the single largest lever on inbox placement.
What is the difference between SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
SPF lists which servers may send for your domain. DKIM cryptographically signs each message so it can be verified in transit. DMARC ties the two together and tells receivers what to do when a message fails — monitor, quarantine, or reject — and where to send reports.
Does this tool need access to my email account?
No. It reads public DNS records for the domain you enter — the same records any receiving mail server checks. Nothing is sent, nothing is stored against your account, and no login is required.
It says no DKIM found, but I know I have it. Why?
DKIM has no discoverable selector, so a checker has to guess. This one tries the common selectors used by Google, Microsoft, and the major ESPs. If your provider uses a custom selector, the key exists but this check cannot see it — verify it directly with your provider.
